Hi,

I was very sad to notice that Portugal, a beautiful but very often forgotten country was left aside in the world tour, it's a pitty because Jeff Smith has many fans eager to get in touch with him (and with some luck have a drawing as a present :) ).
Personally I still remember the first day I get the source book of Bone in my hand through the store where I used to buy comics in 91 and since then I collected all Bone issues and the related issues like Rose that reached my country, I just hope my two baby daughters when they learn to read (they have to learn to speak first :) ) will love Bone as much as I did with the advantage that they aren't going to have to suffer as much as I did for the next issue to hit the stores.
The main event we have in Portugal is BD Amadora but it still have much to do in order to be a reference in the world tours...hope it will reach there so all the comic protuguese fans may have contact with the best living artists in the world, fortunatly some of you already stopped by.
As for me I just hope to get to know Jeff Smith one day and congratulate him personaly for the wonderful characters he created and the hours of happiness he provided me reading his books...and with some luck convince him to do an artwork with Bone and his friends :))

Best of luck and a wonderful 2007

Last year my friends and I went to New York Comic Con and I asked if you'd be going-- you said no, maybe next year. Who knew you were so good at keeping your promises! Thanks so much Jeff (whether or not this was specifically per my request or not)!

Hello from Spain:

I'm another of the Bones's readers who has bought this comic since eight years ago on the "Dude Comics" spanish edition and I don't know if I can read the nine numbers on comic-book format (this is my desire) or I'll forced to buy the most expensive edition in format book that is going to publish Astiberri.

I hope that Jeff Smith and the new "Bone" spanish publisher reach an agreement and the Spanish readers who we have bought Bone in format comic book we finish reading this comic in this format.

Sorry Sean,

The Netherlands were in, then out - - in again - -but now out. We had a great meeting with a consortium of publishers in San Diego 2005 that would have covered Sweden and the Netherlands, but for a number of reasons, it didn't work out. Hope you can make it to one of the other stops.

Curtis,
Let's definitely try to hook up! With a newborn, your schedule will be unpredictable, so we'll do our best. I'll send you an e-mail and see what we can do.

Ivan,
I can't wait to visit Spain. I always have a wonderful time. I went to Barcelona a few years ago and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to! I am very sorry to say that we did not know Bone was still being published in Spain. Our original publisher stopped communicating with us years ago. We did not know they had come so close to the end of the series. They contacted us only recently, but it was too late, and now we are learning that many readers are missing the very end of the story. I am not happy with this situation. I'm not sure what we will do, but we will try to speak with the new publishers and find a solution.

Hello from Spain.
In Spain we have been eight years reading Bone in comic-books. Last issue was 46.
Now, there are some rumours that we can't read the last 9 issues...
Is It true that after eight long years we can't finished our bone collection in comic-books?

Enjoy your visit to our country.
