We’ll always have Paris

When I get off the plane at Charles DeGaul Airport, I get a text message from Vijaya saying her flight was delayed, and she would probably miss her connection at JFK. But then the next message beeped in to tell me she was waiting at a wine bar a couple of blocks from our hotel.

We meet and have two glasses of delicious Bordeaux. Ah, Paris…

  1. Hello Jeff,
    and hello Vijaya!
I’m enthusiastically reading this blog from the beginning of your worldtour and I’m looking forward to your visit in Italy. I’m glad you and Vijaya finally met… I guess you couldn’t chose a more romantic city than Paris to “rendezvous”!!

Tomorrow I will come to Lucca hoping that I won’t miss you… but I think if I look for you two at the Panini stand I’ll find you – sooner or later.
Let’s just say: I won’t stop looking for you till I find you ;)
I wish you a wonderful dinner in Lucca (don’t forget to make photos!!)

(who had the big fortune (and honor!) to translate Bone… thanks!)

  3. Hi Jeff, sorry to bother you, but my e-mails to you keep getting bounced back. I don’t know if it’s a problem with my account or if your inbox is full?
    Thanks,
    Colleen

  4. Colleen,
I just tried to e-mail you and couldn’t. Something may be wrong with your account. I will check in at your thesis blog and see what’s up there.
