Shazam! preview pages on Saturday
DC has e-mailed me to say that a series of preview pages from the first issue of SHAZAM! Monster Society of Evil are going up on the Newsarama site this Saturday. The pages will then go live on the DC site next Wednesday, Nov. 29.
The four issue mini-series that I have been writing & drawing for the past two years is scheduled to ship in February, just in time for the New York Comic Com!
Hey, Jeff, I’m really looking forward to this series, anything by you is an absolute MUST! The very few images I have seen up to now have been fantastic and I’m sure I’ll be totally blown away by what is to come. I hope the series does extremely well for you!

Hey Jeff, I am so much looking forward to MSoE. Your version undoubtedly, will outshine Trials of Shazam, by a country mile, just from the little bits and pieces I’ve seen of your work. Jeff, you never disappoint. You are going to blow the other efforts with this character off the stands and remind the industry that comics should be fun. (Well, Captain Marvel comics, anyway.)

I just read the preview, and I think those last 2 pages are pure, unfiltered, unadulterated, 100% USDA Grade A certified kickass. Gandalf “You shall not pass!”-level kickass. It’s a kind of scene that Dave Campbell of Dave’s Long Box has a very colorful term for, but if the shoe fits…
Man, February can’t come fast enough. Looking forward to trying to meet you at the New York Comic-Con in Feb, too.

You work on Shazam looks amazing. I actually picked up a couple Bone One Volume Editions as Christmas gifts… a few days after the holiday I was phoned by a friend who had received one and was absolutely floored by your work, she said, once she started that’s all she really did, well read and ate chocolate actually!
