Just received an e-mail from Emily Morganti at Telltale Games telling me The Great Cow Race game has been nominated for an Independent Game Festival Award.  Click here to read about it on the Telltale blog.

Also Telltale has donated a BONE: The Great Cow Race game to Joystiq Raffle  that benefits the Child's Play charity, and we are sending them signed copies of the first two Scholastic books – - hardcover copies with sketches in them. But you want to enter, you'll have to hurry! There's not much time left. Click on the highlighted Joystiq Raffle!

  3. Kingdok – it’s IGF. :)

Noman, you can learn about the game on Telltale’s website – http://www.telltalegames.com/bone

The prize pack will include a CD copy of The Great Cow Race signed by the development team, and a coupon to get free downloadable versions of the new director’s cuts that Jeff talked about in his blog a couple of weeks ago. I just found out that Joystiq will post these items on their blog on Monday, and people can start bidding on them then.

  4. Speaking of computer games I came across this http://www.reachmystery.ca/ Anyone look familiar?

Maybe Mr Reach is a long lost cousin or perhaps just a blatant rip off (he even has a backpack).

  5. Sorry about the typo in the headline; fixed it this morning.IGF!

Yeah, wow, what’s the deal with Mr. Reach? Anybody know the story behind that game?

  9. Okay, I just checked out “Mr. Reach”. After seeing him in a front-facing pose, I realized that I’ve seen him before. If I’m not mistaken he’s been in the Reach toothbrush comercial since the early 90′s. However, if memory serves me correctly, I believe he always appeared on a white background (like the Red-Bull commercials)–which makes him look like a little cartoon man, not a Bone. However, he appearing black & white on a backdrop of full color was quite alarming.
