Pogo’s Progress

Filed under: Pogo — Jeff @ 3:38 pm

Fantagraphics has posted this 3-D mock-up of my design for the first volume of Pogo: The Complete Daily & Sunday Comic Strips.  Walt Kelly’s daughter Carolyn, who is working closely with us on this series, gave us a list of unused titles she found in her father’s papers. This volume’s title: Through the Wild Blue Wonder.

Brand new Walt Kelly titles - - how cool is that?!

  7. Steve,
Yes I do read these comments most of the time. Bone 6 Old Man’s Cave will probably come out in July, but I will ask Scholastic for a more real date and let you know what they say.

  9. Okay, I just got the official word from Scholastic about Bone 6: It will ship to stores June 29, but unlike comic shops where books go out on the shelf the day they arrive, bookstores have a couple of weeks to put the books out on the shelves. So check your local shop the first week of July!
