Fone Bone Guest Stars on CBS Show NUMB3RS
Last Friday's episode of NUMB3RS featured a story-line about a comic book forgery that happens during a convention. Some people from the show's production asked us to donate props for their set dressing, and it seems they chose our Fone Bone plush as a featured prop in one scene!
Thankfully the show is actually pretty good! It has a flavor of so many CSI or Law & Order shows, but the cast is very strong. David Krumholtz (Mr. Universe from Serenity), Peter MacNicol (Ghostbusters II and Ally McBeal), and Judd Hirsch (Taxi) are a few of the actors who make the show worth giving a try.
You can watch the episode online over at CBS.com . The episode title is "Graphic".

Ha ha that’s cool! I don’t watch that show but I’ll have to check it out sometime. and hey where can I get one of those plush figures? Or are they only available at conventions?

Many comic shops carry the plush Bone, Jeanette. Try the comic shop locator website if you don’t already visit a store near you.

Also, Borders carries the plushes, but you’ll have to find them. They are in different places in each store I’ve been in.

You’re totally right. While they do have things that all cop shows these days have, instead of ending like CSI does when the case is solved and the bad guy is carried away with a sly comment from the Grissam guy, and boom, it’s over. Numbers though, always cuts back to a family or personal moment with the brothers and the other cast members.
I figure you know of this too, but the Max & Erma’s off of cemetery road was remodeled within the last year or so (I happened to go in and it’s been forever since I been there) and there were two BONE pieces in there. Just thought I could pass it off. I think one of them is a parody of ShadowHawk and the other is Bone doing a snowman Dragon.
