An evening with Paul Pope
On Tuesday May, 20th, The Wexner Center welcomed guest speaker Paul Pope, to the Bone and Beyond Exhibit.
Paul gave a brief history of how Batman has been interpreted over the years and what inspired him on his turn of the iconic classic: BATMAN YEAR 100!
Paul dazzling the audience with his wealth of knowledge on anything ever created… and delivered Jeff's favorite line of the evening when he referenced "the magic of the hand-drawn."

Afterwards we wound down the evening with friends at Rigsby's in The Short North. Classic Steve.

Having been to the one event at the Wexner, I only wish it were closer so I could attend more of them. It very much seems that the Wexner is becoming THE center for comics in the mid-west!

An amazing event! Paul Pope is certainly an inspiration and it was great to hear him speak. I’m certainly glad that I made it out that evening and was delighted that the evening was so informative and enjoyable.
The Bone & Beyond exhibit as a whole is incredible and I strongly recommend it to anyone.
If you are interested in the filed of comics: the insight I gained from looking at the pieces was more than any book could teach.
