Yeah I saw that and it’s riduculous that people would do that! I’m just hoping that if and when they are reprinted I could get my copy and possibly signed at a con.

I think that maybe the order-method was a bit intentionally “difficult” so as to try to maintain some amount of copies for actual visitors to the exhibition, and maybe also to cut-down on the number of people buying it only for immediate eBay-reselling (and having already seen 10-15 copies go on that site for upwards of 75 and 100 dollars already, this obviously did not work, if intended… too bad).

I agree it is a great price but the order method made it difficult to garantee a copy. A sign book would have been nice but I’ll just settle for the book itself! I had also pre-ordered Jeff Smith: Bone and Beyond which I had forgotten about when I had posted above lol. I should be getting my order soon and well be enjoying another wonderful Bone related book.

Yes, it should be. It seems the book is also popping up on the big bookstore chains such as, in Canada, http://www.Chapters.ca.

Just as Bone & Beyond is now under wider distribution, I wouldn’t be surprised if Before Bone hits wider distribution as well. The exact wording of the edition on the inside of Before Bone is “Of this first edition of Jeff Smith: BEFORE BONE 500 signed and numbered copies have been printed. This is copy number ###”. This wording was not explicit in the various online descriptions of the book – and of course, for $25.00 I think it was, it’s a great deal having one of only 500 of the first edition and signed by Jeff. But in my experience, this wording almost guarantees a more widespread edition to follow at some point.

It sounds like a nice book but I wish that there would have been more copies of the Before Bone book available for sale. I don’t suppose they’ll consider printing more copies.
