You say you want a Resolution

Here’s a picture of Vijaya and I with our excellent staff – - Kathleen Glosan, Tom Gaadt, and Steve Hamaker, in front of the mural at The Wexner Center.
Vijaya and I were contacted a few days ago by the Columbus City Council to let us know about a resolution that was being introduced. We’re pretty excited. Here is the announcement that Maryellen O’Shaughnessy’s office posted in our comments section:
Announcement:
Columbus City Council member Maryellen O’Shaughnessy will introduce a resolution of expression recognizing Jeff’s remarkable career on Monday July 28 2008 at 5:00 PM in city council chambers at City Hall. We are looking forward to hosting Jeff, his friends and family, and Wexner Center for the Arts officials for this special event.
Please contact me with any questions,

Hey Jeff,
We’re pretty excited too! You have some big fans at city hall and we’re looking forward to meeting you, Vijaya and your staff. We’re always delighted to welcome Sherri Geldin, director of the Wexner Center, and the great artists of our time, to city hall.
Maryellen is a Lantern alumni too and I believe your careers there overlapped. Although a resolution is the most formal of city council’s recognitions, its presentation needn’t be overly official; funny stories are definitely encouraged.
See you next week,
Lelia

It’s certainly has been a long time coming for this kind of recognition. It just shows how far you’ve come from the black and white issue days of Bone to this. Congratulation, Jeff to you, Vijaya and your staff!
