Hi everyone, Tom here. I just wanted to let you know that we received our reprints of Stupid, Stupid Rat-tails and ROSE. They are now available for purchase in the store.

There is also a second hilarious story of Riblet, a baby boar that runs into some rat creatures lookin for a pork lunch. Riblet is also written by Tom and illustrated by Stan Sakai, artist of Usagi Yojimbo.

ROSE was written by Jeff, with beautiful full color illustrations by award winning fantasy artist, Charles Vess.

Wow, fantastic news! I have been waiting for the reprints of these books for the longest time. I’ll buy both of these this evening.

Woot! Will shipping to Canada be available soon? I notice that the chooser says “State or Province” but there are no Canadian provinces listed there, only states. Haha the zip code also says “Postal or ZIP code” ’cause we call it “Postal” in Canada.

I just wanted to share this:
For over a decade my best friend has been trying to coax me into reading bone. He collected every issue as it came out. I finally gave in and finished the one volume edition in about a weeks time. I loved it of course. But then i wondered if my 9 year old neice would enjoy it too. She adores Archie comics so i thought this might be a good fit. Boy was it ever! She finished the one-vol ed. in two and ha half days. Laughing at all the jokes and enjoying every page. I think it’s funny that it took my neice two and half days, it took me a week and it took my friend ten years to finsih bone!
Thank you Jeff Smith for creating a magical world all of us love.

hey jeff.. I love your books! I have read all of the bone issues and wandering if there is going to be a book ten. if there is could u please tell me?
Comment by Shane — September 6, 2008 @ 9:33 pm
Well… the hardcover of Rose isn’t too hard to find… BN.com has three copies used for $70 – $100. (Yeah, a bargain considering the quality! Jeff Smith! Charles Vess!)
When I sold books for B&N, the kids would read the Scholastic volumes, couldn’t wait for the rest, and bought the One Volume edition! Smart marketing!
And I see RASL Volume One will be out soon… BUT NO HARDCOVER?!
And howabout a reprint of your Lantern strip? Please? I don’t have $1000 to buy an original copy.
