I havent read #3 yet.
I got the issue but it was damaged partly and I kinda didnt want to mess with it.

I’ve sent an email though to Tom about a replacement issue.

Does cartoon books do that?

I currently take a class about Graphic novels at Ohio State University Outreach program for Columbus City School Teachers. My professor Dr. Susan Hayward created it. This is all very new to us. I know you are so busy but we would love if you had some time if you would come talk to our class. If there is anyway you could, please, please contact me. We are all learning and are totally light years away from the kids

Its cool that you’re covering different grounds and stuff though.

I actually looked up Maxwell’s Equations.
They exist (but confused the heck outta me).

The mask he wears for part of his suit.
For some reason the design seems kind of…
foreign?
Like… a ritual mask or something.
Idk it seems familiar.

Oh my! I’ll try to speed things up.

Seriously, it really takes me that long to write and draw each issue. And you can ask anyone here at Cartoon Books – - I can barely get it done in that much time.

Partly it is because I’m no Spring chicken myself, and keeping up the kind of page rate that I used to for BONE is hard to do. Also, RASL is a more complicated story, about physics and the military, and different cultures, art, and basically a lot of things that I don’t know as well as I knew high fantasy and nature. I spend a lot time doing research for the story as well as the art.

Still, I had a lot more distractions this past year than usual (mostly good ones like the WB movie deal and the Wexner exhibit), maybe I can tighten things up for next year.
