Flying Colors store signing pics
Joe Field from Flying Colors Comics has posted some photos from the signing I did there earlier this month.
The event was part of a fund-raiser for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. It was a lot of fun and a lot of people turned up. I signed noon to 4 – - straight! People came from as far a way as San Diego!
In the picture above are two comic fans (with, as you can see, very good taste!) named Paul and Ronna. You can see more of Joe’s pics on his blog by clicking here.
Thanks to Joe & Libby for taking such great care of me while I was in town. ( it was Libby’s birthday and the family included me in their dinner celebrations!)
Below are a few shots from my iPhone; among them: a penciled script page by Carl Barks that a reader brought in to show me, and someone’s Halloween costume from this year!

Cool event.
Are you wearing a cast?

Woah! Thanks. I’m on there in the bottom picture in the way back. I’m the kid in the grey sweatshirt.

Is there anywhere that you
can download the Bone font?

Jeff? When will you make the one volume edition in color? I like bone so much I have the one volume edition in Black & White. When you make it in color i will sell the black and white and earn some money to by it.
So Please tell me when it will come out and how much it will cost so i can save up.

Hello to Jeff Smith or to whomever it is that reads his mail. my comment is regarding the smokers in your comics, which are terrific by the way. Kids and grown ups love your stuff, so why when you can touch so many lives with your gift do you whan to make smoking look cool to kids? Just curious as an ex-smoker and a mom. Thanks Hope you can do great work without the smoke, maybe try making them blow bubbles or something.

My son wants to send you an email about our halloween costumes (we dressed up as Bone characters), do you have a public email address I could send his msg and the pics to? I looked all over the site and couldn’t find one.
Thanks!
