Shazam! Monster Society of Evil Paperback on sale Wednesday
The softcover edition of Shazam! Monster Society of Evil will be In comic book stores this Wednesday. Hooray! I love this book!
I’m happy to say that the paperback version of my Shazam book Monster Society of Evil will be in comic shops on March 4th. It’s beautifully printed, although a bit smaller than the deluxe hardcover that came out for x-mas 2007 (That book was oversized, and this one is standard DC trade collection size).
On the plus side, it is cheaper, $19.99; only $13.59 on Amazon where it is available for pre-order!
Wow!
Didn’t think that would happen seeing as the hardcover’s been around still.
Cool though.

I sure hope they keep the hardcover around; it’s a really nice, delux package with lots of extras for collectors. Still, I think it’s a good idea to have a simpler & more affordable version available, don’t you?

By the way, RASL #4 is out this month. (And also I was told you’re on a tight deadline). But I was wondering 2 things:
If there will be a preview like the others(after its all finished of course)
And also which cover will be used. There’s one shown in the back of issue 3, and this other one that’s actually from a sketch on your blog awhile back.

It’s a pretty tight deadline, I will finish RASL #4 in the next two weeks. After that, we wait to see what the printers and distributors tell us will be the street date. I’ll start posting updates on the blog soon, along with some preview stuff. The yelling Rasl that appeared as a sketch on the blog earlier is the cover!

On a side note, was the cover from Issue 3 (in the back) like an earlier thing and you decided to change you’re mind? Or did the sketch that became #4’s cover (on the site) come before that other one?
Its a confusing question kind of, but that’s pretty much the best I can word it.
