Hey Jeff!
Just read RASL #4. Completely blew my mind, I can't begin to describe it.

That exposition with the Philedelphia Experiment and the Tesla/FDR/Einstein relationship was interesting, and that girl gave me the spooks.

Learning both RASL's full name and the Assassin's first was great; I think the relationship between them is interesting.
Speaking of relationships I can't wait to see how he's going to be seeing Annie and Maya now that he's safe for a while.

I honestly understand now why it took 6 and a half months, and let me say: It was worth it. Will we be seeing any visits to the desert, the Compound, or that pebble-throwing scene at all? It seems like such a hidden treasure to find out in the story.
Thanks a ton.

Woot! Picked up issue 4, read it right away... wow, just throwing a little backstory in there, eh? I love it! Felt kinda like some of the best stories from the X-Files. The reveal at the top of page 6 with the ocean... incredible! The thicker lines on the middle 2 panels of page 24 - both the narration boxes and Tesla - distracted me momentarily, seeming out of place. The girl is creepy! And woah - you printed my email / blog post / I can't remember when I wrote that. SWEET! Even with the instant communication of the internet, email and blogs, it's awesome to have a real letter column in a comic again. Hopefully you get some cool real letters in the mail! It's shaping up to be a great cast of characters. The exposition was a bit heavy this time around, I can see the purpose of it but maybe next time there could be a new character who was on that ship at the time, and we experience the backstory through his memories from his POV - could be a great character, he was young then, he's an old man now - could open the door to some great plot lines! Now that I've read issue 4 I'm off to read the trade again - in its gloriously large size! (Oh, and for the next collection, issue 4 page 27, third panel, "ANNIE S", there's a space for an apostrophe but it's missing.)

Yes, that address is correct, and please write! I'm putting a letters page in the future RASL comics. Issue #4 has a small letters page on the inside back cover.
I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on #4 when it comes out next week!
