“The Cartoonist” screening in San Diego

Hey everybody, Tom again. I just want to let you know about this upcoming screening of the documentary that tells the story behind Jeff’s efforts to self-publish Bone, the 1300 page graphic novel that he carried in his head since he was 9!
This is a big deal – - The Cartoonist will be shown Friday night at 7:30 at Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA on Friday, July 24th in Room 5AB
Ken Mills, who wrote and directed the film, and who is a co-founder of Mills/James Productions will be there to host the screening.
We will have copies of the dvd for sale at our booth in San Diego! I will post information about where you can order copies very soon. Looking forward to hear all your comments once you’ve had a chance to see it.

Wow, that’s so cool! Can’t wait to see it!

Hi Jeff,
I’m a Belgian fan of comics, who’s writing chronicles for a Belgian internet site, chronicles on new comics. So, a few months ago, I discovered your “Bone” and wrote some very positive comments on your work.
After that, I sent you a letter through the intermediary of the National Cartoonist Society.
As I never received any answer till now, I was wondering if they forwarded my mail to you.
Would you like to drop me a line (at: dleonar1@kcc.com) to let me know something. Thanks in advance.
Cordially.
DOMINIQUE

Tom – I can’t wait for the DVD to be available to purchase online!!!! Make sure to save me a copy and I’ll order as soon as it’s available!
I might have to order one of those new t-shirts too, they’re totally awesome! I didn’t notice them in the shop until I looked there today – I love the Smiley Bone one!

Ever since I’d heard of this I’ve been waiting for a DVD of it to come out. Since I’ll be missing San Diego this year you can bet the moment the DVD is available to purchase that I’ll be buying one! I can’t wait!

Will it be on Netflix I wonder?
By the way, any word on the shipping date on RASL #5? Or is it still in the progress (art) stages?

Thanks Jeff!
The letters page is in there and everything?
By the way is the second trade going to have 3 issues (at 80 pages) or 4 issues (at 104 pages)?
Thanks again.
