Okay, so the tickets are finally available on the website for this event, but I want to know: Which date should I purchase the ticket for?

I can only afford to make it to one of the days, and I want to be there when Jeff Smith is.

Is there a way to email/message him directly to find out his itinerary for that weekend in Chicago?

Thanks!

Dear Jeff,

I am a HUGE fan of Bone. I always try to tell as many people (children & adults) about how wonderful a story you've created. It captures the imagination and (the one volume) sits on my shelf with other classic forms of literature!

One question or rather insight I always wondered. When Fone Bone left the valley, did you ever consider giving his book of poems away to Thorn as "his" going away gift? I am not trying to criticize your work at all (smile), but the poems (Fone) was writing to her was a dangling plot thread that I always wondered about.

This would also confirm that Thorn was aware of the great sacrifice he made by choosing to finally return to Boneville as opposed to staying with her. I suppose I always thought it would be sweet that she always had a reminder of Fone (besides the awesome statue).

Thanks again! Believe me that Bone is a story that I will pass along to my son and hopefully he will pass along to future generations. All the best!

Sa-weet! Can't wait to see you in my hometown! Just recently got into Bone, and been waiting for you to come visit my neck of the woods (or pavement, I guess).

Any idea of when tickets will be available for the general public?

A local shop that I had asked to order the Rasl hc (but who had told me the order was too late), also got a copy of the book last Wednesday, and they actually shot me an email to let me know that they were holding it for me. Nice folks. The book is amazing. I had not intended to sit down and read it cover-to-cover, but once I cracked it open... I read the darn thing all the way through without blinking. And this is after having read through this twice already (as the individual issues came out and when the tpb came out). Awesome stuff. A real kick to see that the sketch of Rasl that I snagged through CBLDF last year made it into the back of the book... when I hit the page I had the strangest sense of deja-vu. So cool. Major kudos to all involved.

Actually, I wonder if future RASL collections will eventually be made into hardcovers also?
That'd be really awesome as part of a collection.

I got my hardcover today also (1414/2000). The binding quality is top-knotch. I liked the little lead-in page to the extras as well as the story boards/thumbnails with some dialogue that was written in/out. The other 2 covers looked neat also, although the covers you chose for the issues I prefer, but still, good work.

It was funny seeing how cartoony RASL was in his early stages and the transition drawing. The banner on the back cover was a nice touch also, I'll be keeping that; the front/back covers are also really nice.

@Jeff: First person who has seen it? Cool. The comic book store I bought it from had it in...

Well, The hardcover is great because it shows all the behind the scenes work on how you created RASL, the quality of the book is spectacular, and that the book itself is signed by you of course. The "Would have been" cover on page 122 was gourgeous; It would be awesome to see it as a future cover.I really Hope someday "Big Big" will be created, it sounded very promising. Overall, this book was a steal for 50$ (American)! Good job with the book Jeff! By the way, are you offering sketches at your book signing in Toronto? If so how much will they cost?

Brandon, I don't know if Alex and I will hang out in Chicago this time, but he and I are friends, and have hung out together! I'm sure if our schedules allow, we'll get away for a coffee or something. Emphasis on something.
