Bartleby makes MTV news!

As excitment swirls around the film version of WhereThe Wild Things Are, MTV explores other misunderstood monsters. Bartleby makes the top of the list as one of the five most misunderstood comic book monsters! You can read all about it here.

  4. When I read the Bone books I had To read all the books. They are the only books that iread over and over agian.

    I love Bartleby so much. He should have a storybook where he just goes around doing things that are cute.

    I love your books, and Bartleby is one of my favorite characters (although Smiley is probably #1!). Just finished reading “Ghost Circles” the other day – such fantastic drawing! Thanks for doing cool comics.

  10. I’ve hearted Bartleby from the beginning! My theory is that Bartleby is modeled on the dog breed, Bouvier des Flanders – with uncropped ears of course. In a bit of shameless self promotion, I offer up this photo of our Bouvier puppy, Echo.

  13. My 2nd grader recently came home with a Bone book and she asked me what it meant to have a “romp with the royal sisters”. What age group is this series meant for?
