  1. I am so bummed I am not at Comic-Con this summer. I will have to just take another close look at the original art from Tall Tales at the Cartoon Art Museum.

  2. Wow, a RASL full color print of only 30 copies?!? That’s *definitely* a limited edition! I guess I should have made plans to come to Comic Con this year! Eagerly awaiting Tall Tales of course, but this Pocket Edition of RASL sounds intriguing! I can’t wait to hear more details about this! But it also sounds small, and that amazing newly-colored cover (WOW!!!!!!) should only be allowed to be seen at very large sizes!

Steve, you’ve got to stop being so amazing :) You’re making EVERYONE jealous! I’m going to demand that Jeff lock you in a closet so that you can color/paint all of RASL in this new style we’ve been spoiled with :) The oversized, full color, glossy-1980s-graphic-novel-style Steve Hamaker closet hardcover One Volume edition of RASL :) Which sits on the shelf right beside the pulp black and white One Volume hardcover. I would never be able to decide which one to read!

  5. Whoo hoo! I know what I’m going to make my sister buy for me this year! BONE: Tall Tales and Fone Bone Plushy!!!

That RASL cover has got me intriged. I might have to cave and start reading the series. Usually I stray from the more gritty stuff. But it looks so gosh darn cool!

  6. [...] Santolouco and Eduardo Medeiros; The Troll King by Kolbeinn Karlsson; and the pocket edition of the RASL collection by Jeff Smith. No doubt all of these will provide some nice reading material while I'm [...]

  7. Good deal, but I do not think I will ever make it out to SD for the event. I am more of a fan of the smaller events. Are you guys going to be at APE this year??

  10. Amazon and Chapters both say 128 pages, so I’m inclined to believe them.

  11. Hey Jeff!
Just finished RASL #8. I have to say, that issue was enjoyed quite literally from cover to cover. The new style for the covers is fantastic! And the story threw me for a loop a couple of times like, WHOAH! Definitely pumped for Issue 9.

By the way, thanks a ton for the personalized copy of #8, I really appreciate it =D
