This is awesome!  Jim Woodring, cartoon master of the universe, has built a giant pen nib and used it in public!

I found a set of Flicker pics via The Comics Reporter and Bart Beaty. I don’t know if the photos of this event will be as wonderful to watch for you as they are to me, but I used a pen nib to ink with for years before I switched to a brush – - and I couldn’t stop smiling while he pulled on that giant pen!

You did it, Woodring! I don’t know why you did it, but I’m glad you did.
