First look: RASL #11

I’m working on RASL #10 as I type this (and really enjoying it – - it’s a fun issue!), but Steve just finished coloring the RASL #11 cover for the Diamond catalog.  I liked it so much, I had to put it up on the blog.

Rasl #10 will ship the third week of April, and RASL #11 is scheduled for June.

  1. Woo! Looking awesome! April and June can’t come soon enough :) I’m just loving this story so much. The pace of waiting for each issue is agonizing… but the quality is really worth it.

    Looks like Steve is starting to get a feel for adding color to RASL’s world, and trying different things with these covers. You know what that leads to… ;)

  4. So, Jeff, according to Previewsworld.com, There’s a signed and numbered Bone One Volume Color Edition Hardcover 20th Anniversary Box Set coming out on May 25, for $350. I really want it, but it’s a bit too pricey for me. Any chance of a non-signed edition coming out?

  5. Yes, there is. But we (Cartoon Books) are not doing a mass market paperback like our black and white One Volume. Scholastic makes low priced paperbacks, and that’s still going to be the best place for cheap versions of Bone in color. For the 20th anniversary of Bone #1, we’ll be making something more along the lines of the Absolute Editions.

  9. Love this comic, but it takes WAY too long to come out. No offense, but 3 years to put out 12 comics? If I have to go back every 3 months to read the last issue to refresh my memory, that’s not a good thing. Sorry Jeff, but you need to hire some assistance.
