The BONE 20th Anniversary Tour continues this week as we visit our neighbors to the north.

We want everybody to be able to find us easily at our booth #129, so here is the floorplan of the convention center. You can click on it to make it bigger.

This is a more magnified version of where you can find us. You can also go to FanExpo Canada’s website and download a pdf for yourself here!

Jeff will be doing two (2) signings a day.

The first will occur in the morning at the Cartoon Books booth #129. This signing will not require a ticket, but may get capped quickly if the line is huge. The autograph area signings in the evenings will be ticketed. Tickets for the evening signings are only available at The Cartoon Books Booth. You must receive a ticket from a Cartoon Books staff member (no purchase necessary) and there will only be a limited number of tickets available per day.

  1. is there word on when the Box Set will be released to Diamond? I’ve ordered it through a store and was wondering when it was scheduled to ship. Thanks!

  2. Jerome,
We released the box sets to Diamond a few weeks ago. It sometimes takes a week or two for things to move through Diamond’s system, but I would have your store contact their Diamond rep. directly and check on the status of your order.

  4. I’m so excited to meet you for a second time, Jeff. I met you a few years ago at a Toronto signing at an Indigo book store, I was the kid that you thought was doing a podcast because I was asking you some questions from a piece of paper (and I asked you to sign my RASL hardcover, etc.)

You, Vijaya, and the Scholastic employees were probably the nicest people I’ve met at a signing or convention (And I mean it!).

Looking forward to meeting yet another great addition to the Fan Expo’s lineup!

  5. My son Brendan(11) was thrilled to meet Jeff today at Fan Expo. Brendan showed Jeff his comic that he made for school, and he was ecstatic that Jeff liked it.

You are a great guy. thanks for making my son interested in reading.

  6. Got my copy of the box set today. A truly impressive item, and those people I have shown it to thus far have been very impressed. My only slight quibble is that the pewter figures were somewhat tricky to remove.

Look forward to reading it, as I’ve not read Bone in colour.

  7. I got my copy from Forbidden Planet International here in the UK today (it actually arrived Monday but I only got my hands on it today)! :)

Quick silly question about the pewter figures – as noted above they’re tricky, so tricky in fact I’ve yet to removed them as I’m unsure if I need to cut the ties or not? And if I do cut the ties I’m worried I’ll damage either the figures or the box?

  8. When I looked at the box in the shop, I thought that the “insert” that the book sits in could be lifted out the box and the ties cut from the other side, but that can’t be done. I was able to get the figures out without damaging them, but then couldn’t remove the cut ties from the box. I ended up cutting them down as best I could.

  9. The factory made the decision to use the plastic ties. I guess they wanted to make sure the figures couldn’t fall out.
I cut the ties on my set, if that helps!

  10. I used to really want that collecters box but now not so much due to the price raise
