CXC 2020: Virtual Interview & Signing With Jeff This Saturday – Ordering Details Posted!

This SATURDAY, September 26th, celebrate the return of Cartoon Crossroads Columbus(CXC) with a virtual Jeff Smith interview and signing! Jeff will be talking to the Heroes Homebase Podcast team on The Ogre’s FB page from 3 pm until 4. Jeff is also graciously making a LIMITED number of signed books available for purchase. From now until the signing, place your preorders by e-mailing The Ogre at laughingogreohio@gmail.com! Choose between Bone One Volume Edition with blue rat creature cover($44.95), Bone One Volume Edition with yellow cliffs cover($44.95), or Bone Adventures softcover($9.99). Please specify your name, your favorite character, and if you want the book personalized or just signed. When The Ogre receives your request, we will respond with our phone number so that you can call and pay for your book—shipping is $7.50 for the Bone Adventures and $15.50 for the One Volume. We will ship each book with as much haste as possible, but there will most likely be a high quantity so we ask for your patience. What a great way to kick off this year’s convention!

Palmiotti and Conner have storied careers in mainstream and independent comics, and we’ll talk about their work on some of the biggest superheroes in the world, including a defining run on Harley Quinn that inspired how that character was portrayed in the Birds of Prey movie and the Harley Quinn animated series.

September 11, 2001, Jeff and Vijaya had just arrived in Norway for a comics festival in Bergen. Illustrating the experience of what it was like to be far from home that day, these original art pieces were donated to the “9-11: Emergency Relief” graphic novel which was a fundraiser for the American Red Cross.

Roz Chast is coming to Cartoon Crossroads Columbus this October! The NEW YORKER cartoonist and author of CAN WE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING MORE PLEASANT? and YOU CAN ONLY YELL AT ME FOR ONE THING AT A TIME, Chast will join fellow New Yorker cartoonists Liz Montague and Amy Hwang and editor Emma Allen for a conversation about the legacy and changing culture of the magazine.
The festival will be held online and feature a rich variety of interactive programs. Our schedule will be announced soon. Until then you can check out our newsroom section to see some of the other exciting guests. More guest announcements are on the way!
