Cartoon Books is the original publisher of the b&w editions, of which we released in many formats over the years (single issue comics, softcover ad hardcover trades, slipcased editions, omnibus’ etc.) Scholastic/Graphix then began publishing in color, also releasing the graphic novels in various formats over the years. Lastly, our foreign publishers have also released versions in b&w, color, different formats in their respective languages over the years, so there are A LOT of books out there! Happy hunting!

September 11, 2001, Jeff and Vijaya had just arrived in Norway for a comics festival in Bergen. Illustrating the experience of what it was like to be far from home that day, these original art pieces were donated to the “9-11: Emergency Relief” graphic novel which was a fundraiser for the American Red Cross.

Science fiction and noir. RASL came out of my love for these genres. Some of my favorite authors are Arthur C. Clarke, Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler. I also watch a lot of noir film classics like The Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep.
