CXC kicks off this Wednesday at the Gateway Film Center! Thursday and Friday events are taking place at The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library Museum and The Wexner Center. Saturday we move downtown to The Columbus Metropolitan Library and CCAD. Saturday we finish out the festival at The Columbus Metropolitan Library with a full day of panels, programming and signings. Cartoon Books is the original publisher of the b&w editions, of which we released in many formats over the years (single issue comics, softcover ad hardcover trades, slipcased editions, omnibus’ etc.) Scholastic/Graphix then began publishing in color, also releasing the graphic novels in various formats over the years. Lastly, our foreign publishers have also released versions in b&w, color, different formats in their respective languages over the years, so there are A LOT of books out there! Happy hunting!

September 11, 2001, Jeff and Vijaya had just arrived in Norway for a comics festival in Bergen. Illustrating the experience of what it was like to be far from home that day, these original art pieces were donated to the “9-11: Emergency Relief” graphic novel which was a fundraiser for the American Red Cross.
