Curiosity from NatGeo Kids

Jeff was asked to give his insights on what made him curious as a child and how as an adult, he harnesses curiosity in children today. Ground Hog Day

Making Waves
Around 2000, Jeff was invited to draw a promotional cartoon in support of the CBLDF’s “Making Waves” cruise. The cruise was organized as a fundraiser to continue the organizations mission to protect the First Amendment rights of the comics community. This is the lineart of that piece, which features Marv from Frank Miller’s Sin City, Neil Gaiman’s Sandman, Will Eisner’s The Spirit, Evan Dorkin’s Milk and Cheese, and Jeff’s Fone Bone.
Peanut Butter and Jeremy’s Best Book Ever
Another gem to share! In 2003 Jeff was invited to draw a guest comic for James Kochalka’s ‘Peanut Butter and Jeremy’s Best Book Ever’ graphic novel.
Atlantis Fantasyworld
Sifting through the archives, we found this fun pin up Jeff drew for Joe Ferrara and his store, Atlantis Fantasyworld. Circa 2001.
Empty Love Stories Cover
In 1999 Jeff drew the cover art for our buddy and industry colleague, Steve Darnall for his ‘Empty Love Stories’ comic series!

French News: RASL in French!
Slovenian News: Slovenian Publisher Released Out of Boneville!
RASL in French!
Our long time French publisher, Delcourt Editions, recently began publishing Rasl and before the holidays we received our sample copies of volume 2!
Unlike Cartoon Books’ original four graphic novels, Delcourt is collecting them slightly differently: the first two trades comprise volume 1, while trades 2 and 3 follow the original design. Delcourt is the leading French publisher for most of the comics industry. See the many titles they publish by visiting their website: http://www.editions-delcourt.fr/
Slovenian Publisher Released Out of Boneville!
We received our sample copies from one of our new publishers, DESK. The Slovenian publisher just released Out from Boneville, or Na Svidenje, Boneville. It is still very exciting to see Bone translated in new languages and DESK did a beautiful job!
